The Twin’s season is now underway and Innovative would like to formally announce our first Twins Double Plays for Charity Recipients for 2019! This is an excellent initiative raising money for charities here in Minnesota doing great work in the community. For the first half of the regular MLB season, each time the Twins complete a Double Play, Innovative will donate $100 to The Federated Challenge®, supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters®!
About The Federated Challenge
The Federated Challenge® two-day gala and golf event is hosted by Jeff and Marty Fetters. Jeff is the Chairman and CEO of Federated Insurance. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America®.
Jeff and Marty’s passion for youth mentoring started early on, when they signed up to be a Big Couple through Big Brothers Big Sisters. They were matched with their Little, Mackenzie, who was 11 years old at the time. Jeff and Marty stood by Mackenzie’s side through her formative years and helped guide her through high school, nurturing her love for cooking. Mackenzie, who enrolled in culinary school after high school, has grown and thrives in her career as a chef at a country club.
Federated Insurance offsets expenses so 100 percent of the money raised through the Federated Challenge goes directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Federated Challenge Scholarship Program.
