2023 DOUBLE PLAYS FOR CHARITY
Along with the Minnesota Twins, we are sponsors of the Double Plays for Charity program. During the regular MLB season, each time the Twins complete a Double Play, Innovative will donate $100 to LifeSource (up to $2500 maximum) for the first half of the 2023 season.
About LifeSource
If you have the word “DONOR” on your driver’s license, you are familiar with LifeSource’s work. LifeSource is the community-based non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives through organ, eye and tissue donation in the Upper Midwest, serving more than seven million people in communities across Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
LifeSource is the vital bridge between hospitals, families of donors and waiting recipients. We partner with more than 270 hospitals, 9 transplant centers, 9 medical examiner offices and hundreds of funeral homes each year to fulfill the donation wishes of individuals in our community. We are relentlessly pursuing a day when no one dies waiting for a life-saving transplant.
Over 100,000 men, women and children are on the national transplant waiting list – with nearly 2,300 people in the upper Midwest. A new name is added to the waiting list every 9 minutes. Our goal is to get the transplant waitlist to zero.
The solution: One person can save and heal more than 75 lives through organ, eye and tissue donation. Having that word “DONOR” on your driver’s license makes a big difference for so many.
