Kids In Need Foundation believes every child in America should have equal opportunity and access to a quality education. What is unequivocally true: education is the gateway to empowering students to reach their full potential. Since 1995, Kids In Need Foundation (KINF) has provided the school supplies and learning resources needed to level the playing field, the only national nonprofit to focus its efforts on the country’s most underserved schools, those with an enrollment of 70% or more participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
KINF strategically mobilizes its efforts and resources through its foundational programs–Supply A Teacher, Supply A Student, and Second Responder–and its National Network of Resource Centers, comprised of more than 40 mission-driven organizations across the country. In 2020, through its programs and Network, KINF served an estimated 5 million students, 205,000 teachers, and provide over $70 million in product at no cost to schools or teachers.
