Community Programs - Twins

Along with the Minnesota Twins & Uni Brands, we are sponsors of the Double Plays for Charity program. During the regular MLB season, each time the Twins complete a Double Play, Innovative will donate $100 to Simon Says Give (up to $2500 maximum) for the first half of the 2026 season.

About Simon Says Give

Founded in Minnesota in 2011 by seven-year-old Mandi Simon, Simon Says Give® began with one simple idea: every kid deserves to be celebrated. What started as one little girl’s desire to celebrate another child has grown into a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to helping children experience joy, hope, and opportunity while inspiring young people to become compassionate leaders through service. Today, Simon Says Give continues to prove that kindness has no age limit.

The Mission

Simon Says Give® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2011 by 7-year-old Mandi Simon. They are Kids Celebrating Kids® with the mission to develop the next generation of leaders to be unstoppable. They support kids in three ways: Birthday Celebrations, Youth Leadership & High Five for Supplies®

How They Make an Impact

Every program they create is designed to remind children they matter while giving young leaders opportunities to make a difference in their communities.

They support kids in three ways: Birthday CelebrationsYouth Leadership, and our annual High Five for Supplies® drive.

Birthdays for Ben

Everything started with Ben. In April 2012, Simon Says Give celebrated its very first birthday with Ben Haggray, an eight-year-old boy whose family was experiencing difficult circumstances. That celebration sparked a movement that has brought joy to thousands of children. After Ben’s passing, Simon Says Give partnered with Ben’s family to honor his life through Birthdays for Ben—an annual Birthday Box build event that celebrates Ben’s legacy by creating birthday celebrations for children who need them most. His story reminds us that one act of kindness can create a lifetime of impact.

High Five for Supplies®

Every child deserves to walk into school feeling confident and prepared. Through High Five for Supplies®, volunteers, corporate partners, and donors come together each year to provide backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies for students experiencing financial hardship, helping children begin the school year ready to learn and succeed.

Youth Leadership

Our mission extends beyond serving children—we develop future leaders. Young people volunteer, organize service projects, and discover firsthand that leadership begins with compassion, generosity, and taking action for others.

The Story Continues

What began as one little girl’s dream has grown into a movement powered by thousands of volunteers, generous donors, corporate partners, schools, nonprofit organizations, and families who believe in the power of Kids Celebrating Kids®. Simon Says Give has supported close to 100,000 children with direct support of school readiness or birthday celebrations. They have inspired ten times that with our birthday children celebrating with their friends and our youth volunteer opportunities.

Looking Ahead

The vision remains as clear today as it was in 2011. Simon Says Give wants every child to experience joy, every student to have the tools they need to succeed, and every young person to discover that they have the power to make a difference. Because when children learn to care for one another, they don’t just change lives today, they become the compassionate unstoppable leaders our communities need tomorrow.
