In partnership with the Minnesota Wild, we are the sponsor of the Minnesota Wild Charity of the Month Program. Throughout the NHL season, we feature a new charity each month. This months selected charity is Semper Fi Flo!
About Semper Fi Flo
The Semper Fi Flo Foundation (SFF) is a Minnesota-based 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting active-duty military members, veterans, and their families. Through its outreach, SFF ensures that those who have served our country with honor feel valued and supported. The foundation’s mission is rooted in the belief that by contributing to the well-being and happiness of these individuals, we can repay a fraction of the enormous debt we owe them. Throughout the year, SFF fundraises and collects both products and monetary donations from corporate and private donors to fulfill its three signature missions: Active-duty Care Package Missions, Family Adoption Holiday Missions, and Veteran Home Adoption Holiday Missions.
The Semper Fi Flo mission is to work with local communities to support and enrich the lives of Military families.
Semper Fi Flo’s Missions
One of SFF’s key initiatives is the Active-duty Care Package Missions, which deliver care packages to members of all five branches of the military—Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard—as well as the National Guard in times of national crisis. These packages are distributed year-round, including during holidays, the Girl Scout Cookie campaign, and times of special national needs. The care packages are a way for the community to show gratitude to those who are currently serving, providing comfort and a reminder that they are not forgotten.
In addition to supporting active-duty members, SFF is committed to helping military families through its Family Adoption Holiday Missions. Each holiday season, SFF adopts Minnesota-based military families, both active-duty and veterans, providing gifts and support to ensure they can enjoy the holiday season. As the foundation grows, this mission will eventually extend beyond Minnesota, aided by the success of the “Let’s Get Flo on the Go” Sprinter Van Campaign, which aims to broaden SFF’s ability to reach more military families across the country.
The third signature mission of SFF is the Veteran Home Adoption Holiday Missions, where the foundation adopts a Minnesota-based veteran’s home during the holidays. This initiative provides much-needed gifts for the residents and support for the facility, ensuring that veterans in these homes are cared for and remembered during the holiday season. This effort reflects SFF’s deep commitment to honoring veterans not just through words, but through meaningful actions that make a difference in their daily lives.
As SFF continues to grow, they are actively seeking the support of companies and individuals to donate specific products or funds for our care packages and holiday missions. Your participation would be invaluable in helping us achieve our goals. The more people know about us, the more military members and families we can assist.
